Private Event EMS Coverage

            The White River Twp Fire Department provides basic and advanced emergency medical service coverage for certain private and public non-fire department sponsored functions.  Such functions include school sporting events, parades, community fairs, and church socials just to name a few.  The department also provides coverage for events outside the local community including the Indianapolis 500 and the 500 mini-marathon.  

            The department provides different levels and types of coverage based on the needs of each individual event.  The department assembles off-duty firefighters, EMT's, and paramedics to cover these events.  A small fee is charged to cover the cost of the crew and equipment.  If you are interested in any of these services or would like more information, simply send an email to the department's headquarters at admin@wrtfd.org.
