Chief of Training and EMS
James Engmark
 

            Chief James Engmark began his fire service career in 1984 serving as a cadet with the White River Township Fire Department. In 1987 he began working as a part-time employee with the Greenwood Fire Department where he still serves today. In 2002 he was hired full time with WRTFD as a Lieutenant and was promoted to Captain in early 2004. In late 2004 Jim was promoted to Battalion Chief. In September of 2008, Chief Engmark was promoted to Chief of Training and EMS. He is certified in Fire Officer II, Instructor II/III, Safety Officer, as well as a Nationally Certified Paramedic.

           Serving as a Staff Battalion Chief of Training, EMS and Public Information, Jim is responsible for all training for firefighters and EMS duties for the department.
