Senior Staff Meeting

1. Policy review:

a. Job descriptions: review and prepare for discussion at next senior staff meeting.

b. Discipline and grievance policies will be revised by Chief Cassin and ready to hand out for review at next senior staff meeting.

c. Recruiting and orientation: review and prepare for discussion at next senior staff meeting.

d. Medical: review and prepare for discussion at next senior staff meeting.

e. Smoking policy was approved at last senior staff meeting.

2. Personnel issues:

a. A-shift will have lots of shift openings between now and February. The only two that are official and in writing are a resignation from the department for Rhonda Bailey and a shift resignation from Tom Tharpe.

b. Chief Thacker reviewed the part time hiring list.

3. No word yet on the 2006 Paramedic School. Kyle Brooks and Joe Walters have previously shown interest.
