Senior Staff Meeting

1. Sixteen people hired during the part time hiring process. There will be two orientation sessions in October and they must attend one. The goal is to have them ready by mid-November. Chad Witham has not yet recertified as EMT and cannot work. He has spoken with Chief Tibbetts and “knows he’s on thin ice”.

2. Status of other processes:

- Recruit orientation starts Monday at 0800. Everyone received an updated schedule. Everyone through PERF except for Combs and Wiegle.

- Battalion Chiefs process completed and position awarded to Jeff Wilson.

- Captain process completed and results will be presented to the FPDB at the October meeting. Congratulations to Settles, Engmark, Arkins.

3. Purchase of new staff cars are still on schedule.

4. Remind personnel that fire prevention duties are part of the job. Open house is Wednesday evening 5pm – 8pm.
