Slauter met with Jim White regarding mutual aid.The current contract was before station 53 was in
service.A memo will be coming out
today regarding our response area.There is no more automatic responses.
Remember
to dress appropriate at incidents for safety reasons.The IC should make sure everyone is
protected, including the IC.Ambulance personnel without protective equipment must leave the
danger area.
The
EMS commission is inspecting R51 & E52 today.
All
regulators have been replaced.Please take care of them as they are $450 each.
Be
sure to check out equipment thoroughly!
A&R
was held lastnight.Our SORs are
doing well – 16 correct and 2 incorrect.Great job officers!
They
will be building the radio tower in 6-8 months.In the mean time, we will be using MECA tower.
Do not
move equipment on apparatus.
Dr.
Gansman has not yet signed the new protocols.Paramedics will be required to pass a protocols test with
80% or better to be cleared.
PHTLS
class in August.We are still
holding on the PALS class.
It is
up to station officers to make sure the stations are secure when crews are
off station.Reminder that the FD
will not be replacing stolen personal items.
