-          Stop the rumors.  Need to leave here unified.

-          Chief’s position.  3/1 FPDB.  Pitcher says VP.

-          FPDB.  BOD position.  Butch.  Instrumental for checks and balances.

-          3 documents.  By Laws, contract & supp. contract.

-          10 year plan predicated on how we generate cagit. 

-          Reviewed goals set last year.

-          Land not gifted.

-          Ladder ordered.  Eng53 goes with building.

-          Paul & Mike w/Jeff Savitsky.  Recommended that he validates process.  BCs will be open to the public.

-          Why don’t we discipline people who circumvent the chain of command?  C1-don’t know who it is.

-          Sub committees. 

-          Pell handouts.  One time exception for PERF. 

-          Hiring process.

-          EMS lt as a PI

-          Possibly a civilian mechanic?  Reconsider safety officer as staff position.

-          3 batts decided.  Training, Ops, Support Services.  W/in 6mos.  What about 3 lts?  1 under training (EMS lt), Ops> Communications/Operations, App Maint/HO >> One must be a safety officer.

-          NO career guys will take orders from a volunteer officer.

-          Weighting hiring processes.

-          Benefits.  

Where do we go from here?

-      FPDB meeting on 2/23.

-          Revisit division by division?  No.

-          Senior staff + BOD for division by division next year and bring back to this group.

-          BOD + Chief must work together better to become one voice to the FPDB. 

Recommends that BOD work with Rick Cooley to work on By Laws.

Union apparel wear any time when not on duty.
