  1. Personnel updates
    1. Ray Skipper on 5 month leave.
    2. Natalie Myer cannot ride on any apparatus until she meets with Chief Tibbetts.

 

  1. Building project updates.
    1. Station 51
      1. Station 51 meetings with Heron Ridge Homeowners Association.
      2. Issues were addressed regarding traffic and sirens.
    2. Station 52
      1. In hands of architect.
      2. Currently in bid process.
      3. Possible spring groundbreaking.
      4. Plans are on the employee page.

 

  1. Senior staff / staff meeting schedule for next year. 
    1. Starting in 2005 longer mandatory.
    2. Will be discussing with the other Chiefs the frequency of the meetings.

 

  1. 2005 Vacation schedule is out in the reception area.
    1. Vacation requests are due by 12/23, and will be awarded on seniority.
    2. After 1/1, all requests are first come, first served.
    3. For 2006, the union will be doing the vacation schedule.

 

  1. Please keep mailboxes cleaned out.

 

  1. Toy drive:
    1. Wrapping presents this evening.
    2. Please participate if at all possible. 
    3. Food will be provided. 
    4. Chief Brown thanked everyone for their help.
    5. Everyone agreed that an age limit needs to be set.

 

  1. Rescue 51 will be inservice tomorrow.

 

  1. PEDs boards came in and will be in in the next couple of days.  Drug boxes will also be in soon.

 

  1. Captain Settles addressed the house fund issue.  He will email Captain Arkins with a list to be added to the original list.

 

  1. Captain Settles addressed upcoming trainings.

 

  1. Captain Settles requested a halligan hook.  Chief Slauter directed him to obtain 3 prices and we will proceed from there.

 

  1. Captain Settles requested to purchase a newspaper subscription out of their house fund.  Chief Tibbetts approved this.

 

  1. Lt. Williams discussed flow testing hydrants.

 

  1. Chief Tibbetts thanked everyone for the work that they do here. 

 

  1. Chief Tibbetts stated that the Class B shirt must be accompanied with collar brass, effective immediately.  Chief Tibbetts stated that the policy will be changing.  It currently reads that it is optional.  He stated that he has no idea how this was missed to begin with.

 

  1. Chief Tibbetts stated that he will be providing Christmas dinner for the on duty crews.
