The Meeting Held at Fritz Wurster’s home started at 6:00 pm and adjourned at 7:00 pm.

System Maintenance

Leistner’s Aquatic Service submitted contracts for 2011. We have an existing contract for 2010. The Board decided to wait one year to extend our existing contract for pond maintenance.

Winterizing of the irrigation system was scheduled to be done by Stevens Irrigation.

The Board is looking for a replacement for the weathervane that mysteriously disappeared from the top of the guardhouse at the front entrance.

Landscaping

Brickman’s landscaping contract only included a finite number of cuts. That ended at the end of September. Jim Keller is cutting grass at the entrance until winter. We have a contract with Brickman for landscaping through 2010.

The Grounds Committee is still attempting to find someone to replace rip rap at the front entrance for a reasonable cost.

Replacement of dead trees in the median is scheduled for only three trees. Affected homeowners will be notified. This task is done on a low bid basis as a service to homeowners. Homeowners may replace their own trees as long as the trees meet Association standards.

Brickman is scheduled to replace two bushes at the entrance to Highland Park from Willow Lakes.

Budget 2010

Dennis O’Toole presented the forecast for the 2009 fiscal year as well as the budget for 2010. This budget has been distributed to all homeowners and will be voted on at our Annual Meeting on November 4, 2009.

Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at the White River Branch of the Johnson County Library. The Meeting will begin at 7:00 pm and end no later than 9:00 pm. All residents are invited to attend.
