Highland Park Homeowner’s
Association
Minutes of August 3, 2006 Meeting
Meeting Attendees
Bill Dickey, Vice-President
Lisa Wurster, Secretary
Coleen Ellis, Board Member
Mike Coombs, Board Member
John Price, Board Member
Meeting started at 6:30 pm
and adjourned at 8:30 pm. Held at Coleen’s house.
Certified letters sent by
Brian Benham to homeowners regarding various violations were entered into the
Secretary’s records.
There were continued
discussions about how and when to enforce parking violations of recreational
vehicles. The Board wants to be
reasonable about allowing homeowners to temporarily park recreational vehicles
in anticipation of using their vehicles.
There needs to be a reasonable timeframe established for these
circumstances.
A response needs to be made
to Pendley regarding the storing of their boat in
their driveway. We need to pursue the
Haley basketball violation.
John presented a request
from the lake owners for a listing of all association members. We believe this request was made because of
the lake owners’ desire to hold a special meeting of the Board to further
discuss their concerns about the ongoing lake maintenance costs. The Board
members present at this meeting would like to go ahead and hold the requested
meeting, to hear the lake owners concerns and to share with them the
information that the Board used to support their current decision. Lisa will e-mail Dennis and Brian to let them
know that we will hold a special meeting.

Lisa will check dates at the
White River Library to set up this special meeting. Once the date is determined, John will notify
the lake owners.
Brian spoke with Coleen
about the possibility of the Association supporting a community garage
sale. Several Board members issued
concern due to the fact that garage sales are specifically prohibited in the
covenants. Coleen will let Brian know
that we will not go forward with a community sale.
Several Board members
commented on the front entry mowing.
Brickman seems to be mowing the front area when it’s too wet and it’s
leaving ruts. Lisa will mention to her
husband so he can communicate to Brickman.
Lisa will schedule the
annual HO’s meeting at the White River Library for
sometime in late November.
No future meetings have been
scheduled.
