The first big snow of the season
Our
borrowed time finally ran out this morning with the first major winter storm of
the season hitting the area. The city received just over a foot of snow
officially at the airport, however down here in Greenwood we received between
nine and ten inches. Nonetheless it pretty much brought everything to a
standstill across the region. It was also the first opportunity to use the
new snow blower which performed flawlessly. The machine ate through the
snow like a warm knife through butter. What would have easily taken three
hours only took about thirty minutes, and a lot less aching muscles.
