Texas, part two
Texas
was so much fun the first time, we decided to go again, this time however to the
northern cities of Texas and surrounding areas. Starting out in Dallas, we
visited many sites throughout Dallas, Oklahoma City, and Orlando (okay, maybe
it's a bit of a stretch to be considered a surrounding area of Dallas, but it
just sounded good). In Dallas we visited the Texas school book depository
where President Kennedy was assassinated as well as the famous Southfork Ranch
from the TV show Dallas. We took a day trip up to Oklahoma City and
visited the bombing memorial there as well as toured the local air medical
service facility. We then headed for Orlando, where of course we visited
Disney World. Photos from the trip are below.
