Southwest excursion

    We decided to take a ten day trip to the desert southwest and visit a few different places including San Deigo, Anaheim, Palm Springs, and Las Vegas.  Our first stop was San Diego and there we visited the San Diego Zoo and the U.S.S. Midway aircraft carrier.  From there we traveled to Anaheim to visit Walt Disney Land and the California Adventure theme parks.  After Disney, we drove to Palm Springs, California and stayed at the 1950's-themed Caliente Tropics hotel.  We took the tram to the top of San Jacinto Mountain for a spectacular view of the Coachella valley below.  After a couple days in Palm Springs we drove through the Mojave to our final destination, Las Vegas.  Some of the photos from our trip are below.
