A weekend in Las Vegas

    Dad and I headed out to Las Vegas for the weekend for what was supposed to be a trip with Stacy so she could attend her friend's wedding.  It turned out that Stacy couldn't go at the last minute because of baby-sitting problems, so Dad and I went anyway.  We had a great time as the weather proved to be ideal with temperatures in the mid-80's.  It was NASCAR weekend out there so the crowds were a little heavier than normal, but not too bad.  We stayed at the Stratosphere Hotel and Casino at the north end of the Strip and rented a car with only two miles on it when we picked it up!  Unfortunately Mandy wasn't able to go due to prior work commitments, so we tried to make the best of it anyway :)  Some of the photos we took are shown below.
