Las Vegas or bust

    For the first time in many, many, many trips, we came back home with more money than we left with!  It wasn't enough to quit our jobs, but at least it paid for the incidentals on the trip.  Besides having only a handful of sunny days in the upper seventies, the trip was very enjoyable as we did a lot of things we don't normally get to do while on vacation.  We met up with Dad and Denny about half-way through the trip and showed them around a bit since Denny had never really been there before.  We stayed at the Golden Nugget for the first three nights and then Treasure Island for the last four.  Both hotels were very nice and offered unique perks which we took full advantage of.  All-in-all it was a great trip as well as the last vacation of the year :(
