Million Dollar Duck Race
We visited as well as participated in the annual Million Dollar Duck Race to help raise proceeds for the Children's Organ Transplant Association and Nathan's Battle. There were 14,000 ducks in the race and they were dumped into the downtown canal all at once. They had to float about 300 yards to the finish line where the first 50 ducks were winners. We purchased 12 ducks for the race and of course none of them were winners! But we had a great time anyway as we visited the "Taste of Indiana" and the 100th anniversary of Harley Davidson that was also going on downtown.
